Oleksandr Mokhnatko
January 28, 2026
NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS) rocket with the Orion spacecraft stands atop Launch Pad 39B at Kennedy Space Center in Florida. United Launch Alliance (ULA) under a collaborative partnership with Boeing, built the Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) upper stage of the SLS rocket. Jan. 27, 2026.

Several Canadians are among the 34 global organizations and individuals who will officially help NASA with tracking Artemis 2 and Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen around the moon, by passively examining the radio waves from the Orion spacecraft.
