ISS “self-healing” quantum experiment features University of Waterloo technology

Lab prototype of the single-photon detection and counting module designed and built by members of the Quantum Photonics Lab at the Institute for Quantum Computing / University of Waterloo.

Ongoing quantum computing and communications testing on the ISS featured a unique photon detection unit designed by the University of Waterloo’s Institute for Quantum Computing.
